With the start of 2013, it is important to look back and remember all that has been accomplished during 2012. Many of you are aware of the major milestones that have taken place such as the implementation of Hyperion-FIN, implementation of Hyperion-LRP, development of Data Warehouse and Hyperion reports; however, there are a number of other events that deserve acknowledgement.

If you would like more details about any of the accomplishments listed above, additional information can be found in individual issues of the COMPASS newsletters.

Hyperion Training Plan in Place

marking your calendarsOn December 13, 2012, the campus budget officers gathered in Columbia for their regular, monthly meeting. During that time, they conducted a scheduling exercise in which they coordinated their individual, campus training plans for Hyperion-FIN and Hyperion-HCP.

As the fiscal year 2014 budgeting season approaches, it is imperative that the campuses have a robust training plan in place. A total of 28 auditorium and computer lab sessions are planned at all four campuses including, for the pilot group, eight Hyperion-HCP sessions. Approximately, 350 users will receive training in Hyperion throughout January and February. Invitations for these training sessions should begin appearing in your inbox soon!
