 Noon-Time Meditation (UMC Campus)

Explore the many ways that mindfulness meditation can reduce and stress and enhance overall well-being. All students, faculty and staff are welcome and no previous experience with meditation is necessary. For more information, contact Lynn Rossy.

AP Green Chapel is available for Meditation/Prayer/Contemplation
The AP Green Chapel, located at the Memorial Union, is open and available during class sessions from 7:00 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, for silent meditation, prayer, or contemplation. AP Green Chapel welcomes anyone to utilize this space in silence whenever there is not another organized activity taking place there. For example, it is often used for weddings, especially on the weekends.

Mindfulness Meditation Group meets Wednesdays, 12:15-12:45 p.m., in 225 MSC-Student Success Center, Conference Room. The half-hour weekly sessions include a brief introduction, a 20-minute guided mindfulness meditation, followed by a brief discussion. This group is designed for beginning, as well as experienced meditators. New members are welcome at any time during the semester. If you are new to mindfulness meditation, please call Sharon Biegen or Jamie Linsin at University Health, Wellness and Counseling Services, 516-5711 to arrange for introductory sessions.
