The University business, like others, is going global. There were over 3000 international flights for University business last year.
The number of requests for proof of evacuation and repatriation coverage for visa applications has increased along with the increase in flights. To better serve you, we’ve added proof of coverage to our website to include with the visa application. The identification cards with coverage dates are also posted on the site to include if the country to which you’re traveling requires this detail.
Other important information on the site includes a summary of insurance coverage for your University related travel on our department website under International Travel. The website provides an overview of the benefits, and links to descriptions and Identification Cards that you should print and take with you. Contact your campus International Center or visit the Risk & Insurance Management website to download and print your Identification Cards. Please read the coverage summary and use it as a guide of where to turn for assistance while traveling.
