  1. In Focus Editor says:

Q: In which months will biweekly employees receive three paychecks (instead of the usual two paychecks in a month)?
A: January 2013, July 2013, and December 2013. The third paycheck in December will be issued one day early on Tuesday, 12/31/2013, due to the holiday on 01/01/2014.

  2. Sandy says:

Will that affect the number of paychecks in 2014. Will there be 25 or 26?

  3. In Focus Editor says:

Sensible question! The answer is no. The number of biweekly paychecks in 2014 returns to the usual 26 paychecks, and it will remain at 26 paychecks per year for several years. The last time we experienced 27 paychecks in a single year was in 2002.
