Deborah S. Noble-Triplett, Ph.D.
Deborah Noble-Triplett, Ph.D., serves as the assistant vice president for academic affairs at the University of Missouri. In this position, Noble-Triplett has provided leadership and supports campus activities in areas related to non-tenure track faculty, campus climate, faculty recruitment, retention and development, international programs, strategic enrollment management and review of new and the assessment of current degree programs. Currently, she leads and supports talent management for faculty and the P-20 initiative.
Prior to holding her current position, Noble-Triplett was an assistant professor of human resources and organizational behavior at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has also worked as a research associate at the Fraser Center for Workplace Issues at Wayne State University and held positions in human resources at Ford Motor Company and in community affairs at the Quaker Oats Company Foundation.
Noble-Triplett presented and published research on strategic human resource management, international human resource management and industrial relations and work team motivation, involvement and effectiveness. Her current work applies the theories and models of organizational behavior in a higher education context and involves process improvement and organization performance.
Noble-Triplett received a bachelor's degree in human development and social policy with an emphasis in organizational sciences from Northwestern University. She received a master's degree in industrial relations and a doctorate in I/O psychology, management and industrial relations from Wayne State University.
