eLearning Manager

Christine Mayer, Ph.D., PMP

Christine Mayer serves as the manager for instructional design and project management for the eLearning Initiative. In this position Mayer provides leadership in facilitating curriculum development, project management, and instructional design and development for the eLearning Initiative. Prior to her current position Mayer established and administered the Project Management Office at the University of Missouri Division of Information Technology as well as served as the manager of the Division of IT marketing and communications department. She also worked as the training manager for the University of Missouri System PeopleSoft implementation. Other work experiences included educational software development, instructional design and curriculum development, grant writing, family services, and nonprofit management.

Mayer received a bachelor’s degree in psychology, secondary education and family life education from Adrian College. She received a master’s degree in curriculum, teaching and psychological studies from the University of Michigan, and a doctorate in learning technologies from the University of Missouri.
