Elizabeth Willis Frogge is the managing editor for KOMU TV, the University of Missouri owned NBC affiliated television station. Frogge supervises the newsroom, which serves as a working lab for students enrolled in the Radio-TV and Convergence interest areas of the Missouri School of Journalism. She reviews web stories for KOMU.com, edits news scripts and approves video before it airs. Frogge is an assistant professor and teaches advanced reporting. She is a graduate of the program and has more than a decade of experience reporting, anchoring, producing, and shooting television news. At WVUE in New Orleans, Frogge covered Hurricane Katrina and the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast and received awards from the New Orleans Press Club and the Associated Press. Prior to that, she served as an anchor/reporter/producer for WECT and WSFX in Wilmington, N.C., as a reporter for WEVV in Evansville, Ind., and as the Owensboro, Ken. Bureau chief. Frogge is a member of Radio Television Digital News Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Investigative Reporters and Editors. She and her husband Jake have two small children, Brett and Charlotte.
