Overview
On October 25-26, 2010 a statewide workshop on academic transformation and collaboration to reimagine higher education in Missouri was held. The keynote speaker was Dr. George Mehaffy who is the author of the Red Balloon Project: Reimaging Undergraduate Education. He is leading nationwide efforts to respond to three challenges facing higher education: rising costs and the likelihood that state funding will never rise to previous levels, rising expectations for higher education with respect to increasing the percentage of individuals with degrees, and ever-changing technology.
Resources from this workshop have been posted.
