David Wasinger of St. Louis was appointed to the University of Missouri Board of Curators in 2005 by Gov. Matt Blunt. Curator Wasinger is chairman of the Resources and Planning Committee and a member of the Academic, Student and External Affairs Committee and the Compensation and Human Resources Committee.
Curator Wasinger graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1985, and received his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1988.
Curator Wasinger is managing partner of the law firm Murphy Wasinger, L.C., focusing on civil and commercial litigation. Curator Wasinger has been selected by his peers as one of the The Best Lawyers in America as published by Woodward-White, Inc. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Ten Million Dollar Lawyers' Club.
Curator Wasinger currently serves as President of the Town & Country/Frontenac Chamber of Commerce. He is a past President and Chairman of the Board of the St. Louis Jaycees. Curator Wasinger is a member of the University of Missouri Alumni Association, the Jefferson Club and the University of Missouri Legacy Society. Curator Wasinger and his wife Colleen have two sons, Alexander and Andrew.
