ASUM's duty to the students is to provide information and to educate students through events such as a "Write For Higher Education," where students write their state and federal officials on issues that they are passionate about. These issues range from having a vote on the Board of Curators, tuition caps, and scholarship information, among many other issues. ASUM then collects and sends the letters to the appropriate legislators.
