Nancie joined the General Counsel's Office in 1985, and represents the University in several areas, including litigation, employment, faculty and student issues, constitutional issues, intellectual property, licensing, federal communication regulation, development, and immigration. She came to the office from the Federal Litigation division of the Missouri Attorney General's Office.
She received her B.A. in Political Science in 1976, and her J.D. in 1979, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a member of the following bars: Missouri, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and United States Supreme Court.
