President's Academic Leadership Institute - Administrative

The President’s Academic Leadership Institute (PALI) provides professional development opportunities to leaders of academic and administrative units throughout the University of Missouri.

• PALI - Administrative - focuses on leadership development for administrators within the University of Missouri.
• PALI - Academic - focuses on leaders of academic units (primarily department chairs).

The deadline has passed to submit an application for ALDP 2008. A new class will be announced in the near future. If you are just now learning about PALI-Administrative, please consider applying next year.

The central program of  PALI-Administrative is the Administrative Leadership Development Program (ALDP). The ALDP begins with a four-day session, April 21-24, 2008, at the Country Club Hotel and Spa at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Each year’s ALDP class will participate in:

• Four Day Retreat – Extensive retreat focused on assessing and developing leadership skills.
• Follow Up Sessions – Three times throughout the year the entire group will meet for a day-long session concentrated on a selected topic.
• Monthly Luncheons – Local campus groups will meet once a month over lunch to continue networking and to work on a campus project.
