The Production Support group provides automated scheduling of MVS and PeopleSoft processes, as well as Mobius online report management to various departments throughout the University of Missouri system.
Production Support provides a central point of coordination to effectively schedule the many inter-processes required for the administrative needs of the University. Our cumulative knowledge base of the clients' computing needs and centralized control allow continuous judgments to be made during the production cycle to assure that all critical processes are completed with minimal interruption and cost. Production Support continues to increase automation and streamlining to improve the overall throughput and efficiency of the production cycle's workload.
In this time of transition from the legacy MVS operating system to Unix-based PeopleSoft, clients require double duty from Production Support. We will continue maintaining the professional level of MVS scheduling services that clients have come to expect during the conversion to PeopleSoft.
