PeopleSoft reporting teams up with DocumentDirect for the Internet to provide a common portal to access PeopleSoft information stored within the Mobius Archive. Internal users can locate and view any type of document while customers have self-service access to information about their accounts and transactions.

DocumentDirect for the Internet supports Internet-based viewing of any document, using any Web browser in a thin client environment, without any plug-ins or ActiveX viewing modules. What you print is what you get (WYPIWYG) technology displays the document in its original, printed appearance. To the left of the display is a Document Explorer, which enables users to browse indexed documents and access the documents they want.

One DocumentDirect for the Internet option makes it the ideal Web solution for customer-facing systems providing customer support and customer relationship management: Direct Connect, which can open Document Explorer at a desired level in the document hierarchy, or return an individual archived document when the user clicks a link in your Web page. Direct Connect enables a high degree of interface customization and can be configured so that users do not have to log in.
