Human Resources - August 2005
- Performance issues with the Annual Salary Increase Application (ASIA) were handled by a combination of adding application servers, staging the data entry by business unit, and by rewriting some of the code. Despite these issues, the application drew praise from users. A list of future enhancements has been compiled for next year.
- The Benefits Administration team is preparing for this fall's open enrollment period, when employees can change their benefit plans.
- Ethnicity synchronization between Student and HR has been resolved. A cross-application team met several times to discuss the differences as well as to decide which tables should be consulted for institutional reporting.
- Tax Update 05-C was applied to HR Production in August.
- Planning for the upgrade to PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.9 is underway. The tentative go-live date for the upgrade is the end of June, 2006.
