Finance and Administration

Welcome to the University of Missouri System Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration. The mission of the Office of Finance and Administration is to maximize the financial and physical capacity of the university in support of its mission. The office strives to do this by being an innovative provider of value-added financial and administrative services, working collaboratively with the campuses to achieve their goals.

The Finance and Administration division is responsible for financial planning and management of the university, including investments, university debt, internal auditing, accounting and budgeting. On the management side, the responsibilities of the office include, among other functions, facilities planning and development, procurement and institutional research and planning. The division’s strategic focus is directed toward:

• providing exceptional client service; 
• executing our fiduciary responsibilities effectively; 
• engaging in continuous process improvement; and 
• creating a positive and dynamic work environment for staff.
