COMPASS - Commitment Planning and Support Systems

Project Goal

The goal of the project is to implement a budget, planning, and management information system that will allow efficient processes and user flexibility for monitoring performance for compensation and other operating costs. The project will result in consistent data and timely access to managerial decision-making information.

COMPASS implementation will provide an integrated solution to:

develop the annual budget,
to maintain budget throughout the year,
to provide long range planning and forecasting,
to provide what-if analyses of potential changes,
to establish payroll funding plans,
to maintain positions,
to provide compensation encumbrances for campuses,
to provide flexible reporting and analysis tools for decision-making.
