What is Hyperion?
The Hyperion Planning System, or Hyperion, is an integrated, system-wide planning, budgeting and reporting management system. Hyperion includes three parts, Financial (FIN), Human Capital Planning (HCP), and Long Range Planning (LRP). Hyperion will provide:
- Common and efficient budget processes
- Greater user flexibility
- More consistent budget data
- Timelier decision-making
All employees who manage budgets for a University department, those who plan, manage, or account for employees, or those who use financial reports for a department will eventually use Hyperion in some capacity.
