Public Meeting Notice

University of Missouri Board of Curators

The University of Missouri Board of Curators will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Friday Jan. 7, 2011, originating in the Clinton Club at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo., and at remote locations via conference telephone. The board will meet in open session to consider a motion to close the meeting. Notice is hereby given that the board of curators, upon such a motion duly made and adopted, may hold a closed session and may conduct closed votes in the Stalcup Room at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo., pursuant to Sections 610.021 (1), Section 610.021 (3) and 610.021 (13) RSMo, relating to matters in those provisions, which include confidential or privileged communications with counsel; the hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular personnel; and individually identifiable personnel records pertaining to employees of the university. The board may reconvene in open session in the Clinton Club to adjourn or consider and vote on other matters.

A press conference will be held immediately following the meeting in the Clinton Club at Mizzou Arena. Reporters unable to attend in person may dial in to a conference line to listen and ask questions. This press conference will not be live audio streamed or tweeted.
