Members of the press are invited to a panel discussion of state and University of Missouri leaders to be held today at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 in the Lodge of the Four Seasons Granada Ballroom. The panel will discuss higher education’s role in building Missouri’s economy. Subjects will include Governor Matt Blunt’s Lewis & Clark Discovery Initiative.
University of Missouri President Elson S. Floyd will moderate the panel, which will include Director of Missouri Department of Economic Development Greg Steinhoff, Missouri Technology Corporation Executive Director Rob Monsees, and University of Missouri Vice President for Research and Economic Development John Gardner.
