The 22nd president of the University of Missouri is expected to be formally selected and introduced on Thursday, December 20, 2007, in Columbia, Missouri.
The University of Missouri Board of Curators will hold a special meeting at 11:30 a.m., CST, on Thursday in Donrey Room 211 of the Reynolds Alumni Center, on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus, and at remote locations via conference telephone. The committee will meet in an open session to consider approval of a closed session for consideration of hiring a new president.
At 1:00 p.m., the Board of Curators will host a public announcement program in the Great Room of Reynolds Alumni Center, at which time the new president is expected to be introduced. The program will be available in live streaming video at 1:00 p.m. at the following Web address: https://umsystem.edu/live
A news conference will follow the public announcement in Columns Ballroom 3 of Reynolds Alumni Center. A public reception will follow the news conference in the Great Room at Reynolds Alumni Center.
