The University of Missouri Board of Curators has invited members of all other Big 12 institution governing boards visiting Kansas City for the Big 12 Conference basketball tournament to attend a breakfast meeting on Saturday, March 15. The breakfast meeting is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Liberty Memorial Museum, 100 West 26th Street in Kansas City. After breakfast, the guests will be invited at 9:45 a.m. to join their governing board colleagues for informal discussions about current issues in higher education. Issues that may be discussed include generating public and legislative support for higher education; development of cooperative education programs across state lines and regionally; tuition rates and methods of controlling tuition; and technology in education.
