University of Missouri President Elson S. Floyd and Truman State University President Barbara Dixon will make a joint appearance as co-luncheon speakers at the Hannibal Rotary Club in Hannibal, Mo., on Tuesday, January 16, 2007.
This will be the latest stop on the presidents’ public higher education unity tour. President Floyd and President Dixon also appeared together during a joint forum last year at Truman State University in Kirksville. President Floyd has joined his colleagues on their campuses across Missouri for forums to discuss common principles of service to Missourians by the state's public higher education institutions.
Media representatives are welcome to attend the Rotary luncheon, which starts at noon at the banquet room of Quality Inn and Suites, 120 Lindsey Drive, just off U.S. Highway 36W in Hannibal.
