Facilities Annual Report

1. The UM office of Facilities Planning and Development will annually prepare a Facilities Annual Report (FAR). This report is a summary of Physical Plant and Design and Construction operations. The information is provided by each campus.
2. The FAR provides information to the President, Board of Curators and campus administrators covering the wide range of campus facility operations. The FAR information is also required as a consistent data source for reporting to outside agencies and will provide a historical record of facilities operations.
3. Facilities Planning and Development, UM, will issue FAR guidelines each year. This information represents the minimum required. The UM Facilities Planning and Development will consolidate the campus information and present the FAR with a dedicated section for each campus.
4. Each campus will identify Comparator Institutions and benchmark its performance from data supplied from those Comparator Institutions.
5. The FAR will be prepared by October following the close of the fiscal year.
