Manager of Digital Communications
Justin Roberts joined Strategic Communications as manager of digital communications in 2011. In this capacity, he works to establish a dynamic digital communications presence that leverages the use of design, video, images, multimedia and social media platforms, and content to capture the statewide impact of the University of Missouri System.
He also provides support and counsel for internal audiences to ensure best practices for usability, accessibility and design for digital communications, and serves as a liaison with communications colleagues on the system’s four campuses.
Prior to joining the UM System, Roberts worked in communications for both the MU College of Education and the MU College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources where he has eight years combined experience in higher education communications. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics in 2003 and a master’s degree in public administration in 2005, both from MU.
