Liz McCune

Liz McCune has more than a decade of experience in journalism and public relations. As a senior writer for Strategic Communications, she is responsible for providing written and multimedia support for speaking engagements and presentations of university administrative leaders and the board of curators. She also develops multimedia content for the System’s Web site and Advancing Missouri campaign. 

Prior to joining the University of Missouri System, she was part of the public relations staff at University of Missouri Health Care.  She also has worked as a reporter and editor at several newspapers, including the Columbia Daily Tribune and the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville. In 2007, she was selected as a Knight Foundation fellow at the Missouri School of Journalism where she served as the Columbia Missourian’s first immediacy editor.
