Jamie Farmer was appointed to the University of Missouri Board of Curators in 2017 by Gov. Eric Greitens.
Farmer is the president of Capital Sand Proppants, LLC, a division of the Farmer Holding Company in Jefferson City. She previously held management and marketing positions with L’Oreal, The Valance Group and Revlon.
Farmer graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Trulaske School of Business in 2003. She studied at the Esade Business School in Barcelona, Spain, in 2011 and obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in 2012. She is currently working toward obtaining a pilot’s license.
