Bea Doheny

Bea Doheny is a senior pursuing a degree in business marketing degree with a minor in entrepreneurship at the University of Missouri. Bea is a 2014 graduate of Nerinx Hall High School in St. Louis where she served as Senior Class President and led her class of 163 students. While at Mizzou, Bea has managed to apply the appropriate balance between entrepreneurial endeavors and scholarly activities. Bea launched her space-inspired jewelry business called Astronobeads on Earth Day in 2016. Her company currently sells ten stellar products and each handmade piece spreads a different message about our universe. The venture is based on Bea’s interest in astronomy, art, and entrepreneurship. The mission behind her jewelry is to have more people “Wearing & Sharing the Love of the Cosmos.”

On campus, Bea is a member of the Entrepreneurship Alliance, the Chi Omega Sorority, and she created a Coffee Club where students can meet and bounce ideas about their passions and interest in entrepreneurship. She is very grateful for her Mizzou mentors, Dr. Greg Bier and Sarah Crawford, and her family and friends for supporting her throughout her college journey and business endeavor. For fun, Bea enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, stargazing, and expressing her creativity.
