Nature of Work

Collect, manipulate, and synthesize data to create meaningful reporting solutions to support decision makers.

  • Performs routine analytical assignments using existing procedures

  • Understands and analyzes data sets, sources, and structures within their domain

  • Reviews complex system generated reports and queries, providing input on atypical situations

  • Collect and interpret statistical and analytical reporting solutions and prepares management information reports

  • Performs a variety of specialized or complex procedures and makes recommendations for improvement/efficiency, as necessary

  • Assists in the coordination of quality control procedures within the data analysis function

  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems

  • Researches and analyzes information and uses standard practices to make informed judgments and recommendations

  • Has limited impact on own work team

  • Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines

  • Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions, and checks for understanding

  • Coordinates external projects with other departments

  • Develops working relationships with internal parties and may work with external parties, as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

  • Possesses conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the data analysis function

  • Applies general data analysis knowledge developed through education and experiences
