Provides oversight and coordination of a Geographic Information System (GIS) and/or Global Positioning System (GPS) and related automated systems. May develop and manage related projects and/or present and publish information about the projects.
Performs routine tasks as assigned using existing procedures
Prepares studies and reports that assist senior level associates
Performs a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and makes recommendations for improvement/efficiency, as necessary
Conducts various analyses, reports and research based on specialized procedures
Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems
Analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments
Has limited impact on own work team
Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet established deadlines
Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions, and ensures understanding
Develops working relationships with immediate, related teams
Receives instruction, guidance, and/or direction from more senior level roles
May mentor (or supervise as needed) others in completing finance and business duties
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Possesses conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the Research function
Applies general research knowledge developed through education and experience
