Photos from the 56th Missouri Photo Workshop are now online.
"MPW.56" documented Hermann, Mo. The town of German heritage is nestled in the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River.
Nearly 40 stories were shot by the students who participated in the workshop. The stories ranged in subject from an essay on a local tavern by Uwe Martin to a profile story of a certified therapy dog by Jennifer Page, as well as a story on Hermann's Catholic priest, Father Bill, by Deborah Silver.
The Missouri Photo Workshop is a week-long, intense learning experience where photographers and Missouri School of Journalism faculty collaborate to produce visual stories of a different small, Missouri town each year.
