Columbia: MU / MU Health Care / UM System

The University offers in-house EAP services for MU, MUHC and UM System employees and their immediate family members.  Scheduling for the EAP occurs through the HR Service Center. EAP appointments are offered in-person, via videoconference or by phone.

The primary contact number for the EAP remains (573) 882-6701, however HR Service Center personnel will assist with scheduling consultation with the EAP. Stakeholders may continue to directly contact the EAP Director via email for services or to discuss custom EAP resources and team presentations. After Hours and Weekend Phone Support: 

In the event emergency behavioral health or medical services are needed after regular business hours, the individual should call 911 or immediately proceed to an emergency room for care and consult with their insurance company.

The University offers an emotional support phone line, available 24 hours per day, seven days a week:

Critical Incident and Urgent Clinical/Workplace Consultation Requests: 

Critical incident and urgent clinical/workplace consultation requests are given priority for scheduling and response. Trained EAP clinicians are available during regular business hours to respond and facilitate access to fitting resources either directly or by referral to community-based resources.

The EAP conducts a quarterly analysis of staffing patterns, services and availability to best accommodate the service needs and working hours of the university community.

Parking: Two reserved parking spaces are available in lot RC8 for McReynolds Hall appointments.

Kansas City: University of Missouri-Kansas City

The University partners with Saint Luke's LIFEWISE EAP to offer EAP services to UMKC employees and their immediate family members.

The University partners with the UMSL Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) to offer EAP services to UMSL employees and their immediate family members.

  • Referral to quality, cost-effective resources within the community.
  • Follow-up and case management services.
  • Critical incident stress debriefings for issues such as death of an employee, medical emergencies, natural disasters and pandemic-related stressors. Stakeholders may contact CBH to discuss custom EAP resources and team presentations.
