EAP locations and hours

Columbia: MU / MU Health Care / UM System

As an employee, family member or retiree at MU, MU Health Care or UM System, you have access to many resources. Now through October 31, 2017, our in-house EAP team and Capital Region Center for Mental Wellness will collaborate to smoothly transition services while continuing to focus on what's best for the client through high-quality services. Get answers to common transition questions on the EAP FAQs webpage.

EAP team

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the MU campus at 102 Parker Hall, 406 S. 6th St., Columbia, MO 65211
    • Appointments are also available in Woodrail Center and at MU Health Care. Please call to schedule.
  • As determined by the EAP Director, nontraditional hours such as after 5:00 p.m., or Saturday, are provided on an as-needed basis for both clinical and organizational services.

Urgent needs:

Urgent clinical or workplace consultation requests are given first priority for scheduling and response. In the event an employee urgently needs clinical (behavioral health or medical) services after traditional hours, the individual should immediately proceed to an emergency room for care and consult with their insurance company.

Trained EAP clinicians are available by telephone during normal hours to respond to emergencies and facilitate access to fitting resources either directly or by referral. The EAP conducts a quarterly analysis of staffing patterns, services and availability to accommodate the service needs and working hours of the University community. All non-life threatening clinical or non-catastrophic organizational emergencies are addressed by the EAP no later than close of business, next day.
