Yes. During a leave of absence, you are eligible to continue to participate in the University of Missouri's staff benefit program (medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death, and long-term disability) provided you continue to pay the applicable monthly premiums.
If you do not have paychecks during your leave or do not have enough earnings to cover your benefit plan premiums during your leave, an invoice will be mailed to you on a monthly basis for any premiums owed. Alternately, you may decide to pre-pay your premiums through your paychecks before your leave of absence begins.
