Executive Vice President Hank Foley receives national recognition

Hank Foley, executive vice president for Academic Affairs for the University of Missouri System, was recently honored with a major award from a national organization that recognizes and promotes inventors. Foley was named as one of 143 innovators to receive fellow status by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), chosen from 94 research universities and governmental and non-profit research institutions. NAI fellow status is bestowed upon academic inventors who have demonstrated a highly prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development, and the welfare of society.
