Each year, the UM System Staff Advisory Council hosts events to increase collaboration and engagement, as well as recognize the work of our colleagues. UM System staff will receive event invitations and registration information, as well as reminders, via email. Additional events may be held throughout the year. Annual events include:
A bowling competition, typically held in March at AMF Town & Country Lanes located at 1508 N Providence Rd., Columbia, MO. Participants are asked to pay $10 to cover shoe rental.
Team spirit, individual high score and team high score awards are available, and winners are announced at the fall staff recognition event.
An afternoon team trivia and lunch event, typically held in July at Southside Pizza located at 3911 Peachtree Dr., Columbia, MO 65203. Participation is free, but those who would like to enjoy a lunch of pizza and salad are asked to provide $10. Options for all dietary needs will be available for order.
