BPM-712 Summonses & Petitions

Any summons or petition served an employee as a result of an accident or incident occurring in the course of or arising out of employment with the University must be forwarded immediately to the General Counsel.

NOTE: For employees located in Columbia, the summons should be hand-carried to the General Counsel.

The General Counsel, upon receipt of summons or petition, will review the claim with the Director of Risk & Insurance Management to determine applicable insurance coverages available.
