Rachel Thornton, MU agricultural education freshman, served on the 2010-2011 State FFA Officer Team as Area IV State FFA vice president. She spent countless hours helping plan the 83rd Annual State FFA Convention. She had speaking parts in opening ceremonies, reflections and awards.
“Convention was awesome and a great way to wrap up my term as a State FFA officer,” said Thornton. “This past year has been such an amazing experience.”
Thornton traveled all across the state of Missouri and met thousands of FFA members.
“As an officer you set out to influence FFA members and motivate them along the way,” she said. “This did happen, but more anything, the members have had more of an impact on me.”
