University of Missouri President Gary Forsee makes his first series of public appearances in Springfield, Mo., Thursday and Friday, April 24-25.
President Forsee will be welcomed to the Ozarks with a reception from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday hosted by the UM Alliance of Alumni Associations, University of Missouri Extension and The Missouri 100 presidential advisory group. The invitation-only reception will be held at The Tower Club, 21st Floor, Hammons Tower, 901 East St. Louis Street in downtown Springfield.
President Forsee will address a breakfast meeting of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry at 7:30 a.m. Friday in the John Q. Room of the University Plaza Hotel. Media are invited to cover the meeting.
President Forsee will tour University Extension facilities in Springfield from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Greene County Extension Center at 833 N. Boonville Ave, Springfield, Missouri. Media are invited to cover the tour.
