Inclusive Excellence Plans

Inclusive Excellence Framework

The framework is designed to help UM System universities integrate diversity and quality efforts consistently and successfully.

Overview

In February of 2018, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council gathered to discuss Institutional Excellence Framework (IEF) Plans and funding. After two days of deliberation, the Council apportioned funds to each of the four campuses in support of their unique IEF Plans. Funds will be used to support new programs, bolster existing programs, cover requested scholarships and identify new positons necessary to accomplish continued efforts on the part of the University to be a more diverse, inclusive and equitable environment for students, staff and faculty.
