The House modified HB1268, a bill sponsored by Representative Donna Lichtenegger (R-146). HB 1268 allows the Missouri Dental Board to issue dental faculty permits to individuals who are employed by accredited dental schools, colleges or programs in Missouri. This legislation will positively impact the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School and give them more flexibility to hire qualified professors. The bill will now be placed on the calendar to be third read.
