Facilities Planning & Development

Facilities Planning & Development oversees the planning, design and construction of University facilities. As the systemwide building code authority (AHJ) and contracting officer, the team ensures projects meet high standards for safety, quality and cost-effectiveness. Its work includes maintaining design and construction standards, guiding campus teams, preparing materials for Board of Curators' approval and coordinating major planning and reporting efforts.

Real Estate and Business Services

Provides systemwide support for acquiring, managing and selling University properties. The office helps departments navigate real estate needs efficiently by identifying cost-effective acquisitions, maximizing the value and use of existing assets and ensuring properties no longer needed are sold for the greatest return.
