The Student Representative serves as the students’ voice to the governing body of the University of Missouri System. The system includes the University of Missouri-Columbia, MU Health, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The Student Representative serves a two-year term, and is appointed by the Governor of Missouri and confirmed by the Missouri Senate. Appointments rotate among the campuses, so that students from MU, UMKC, S&T and UMSL have a rotating opportunity to represent the 77,000+ students who are the primary and guiding purpose for our institution.
