On April 5, three student teams will win cash prizes toward their startup ventures

WHAT: Students at each University of Missouri System university will soon be one step closer to bringing their business startup dreams to reality at the Entrepreneur Quest Final Pitch Competition. Much like on the television series Shark Tank, 12 student teams will have 10 minutes to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. The three winning teams will share $30,000 in cash prizes.

Participants are part of the Entrepreneur Quest Student Accelerator, a new UM System program that was one of President Mun Choi’s initiatives announced earlier this academic year. The objectives of the program are to teach students the process of being an entrepreneur and how to launch new businesses.
