The University of Missouri Board of Curators approved a 3 percent salary increase for UM President Elson S. Floyd in closed session at its Nov. 19th meeting in Rolla, MO. President Floyd announced today that he will decline the salary increase.
"I greatly appreciate the Board’s decision to increase my salary and I respectfully acknowledge the Board’s authority to take this action," Floyd said. "However, in view of the continuing tight fiscal situation faced by the University, I have decided not to accept the increase."
