Applicability

This manual provides a means for formalized, systematic documentation and communication of those policies and practices established by the Board of Curators or the President (or designate) of the University of Missouri. In case of any conflict or question with reference to the policies of the Board of Curators of the University as set forth in the Collected Rules and Regulations of the University of Missouri, the Collected Rules and Regulations of the University of Missouri shall be deemed controlling in all circumstances.

 

Electronic Authorizations

Policies in this manual may contain references to required forms and authorized approval signatures. Such forms and authorizations are to be used as noted except for those units that are utilizing electronic systems or alternate documents approved by the Vice President of Human Resources. Those units may utilize appropriate methods for recording, storing and approving transactions.

Revisions

Revisions to the on-line manual will be posted immediately. The address for the online manual is: https://umsystem.edu/ums/rules/hrm.

All additions, deletions or revisions to this manual require the written approval of the Vice President, Human Resources.
