Introducing Wex, Inc. one of the country’s leading fleet/fuel card management programs. Beginning this summer the University will be partnering with Wex for fuel purchases related to all University owned vehicles.
In the coming weeks we will begin transitioning all current fleet/fuel cards to the new program with Wex. When the pilot is complete and the program is ready for roll-out, all departments currently utilizing the University fleet/fuel card will be transitioned to the new program. If you have a JPMC issued fleet card, a member of the Supply Chain team will contact you regarding the process for obtaining new cards and to answer any questions you might have. Detailed program information, new cards and user training will be provided prior to the program roll-out.
As part of the fleet/fuel card program the new University fleet/fuel card includes the following benefits:
- Currently accepted at over 90% of U.S. retail fueling locations
- Per gallon discounts are offered at some locations and tax eliminated at the point of sale
- Mobile app available that includes a “finder” for nearby fueling locations based on your current location
- Simplified billing and reconciliation
- Reporting available for state fuel consumption reports
